Perhaps Congratulations are in order, have you recently passed your driving test and a bit nervous about driving alone on the Motorway?
Perhaps you've been driving a while but still don't feel comfortable taking on busy three/ four lane roads.
At DCSM, David's motorway course is designed in such a way that you will develop the specific skills and confidence you need to drive safely on the motorway network.
David will take you through everything you need to know before you go out and will include a demonstration drive, so you will have the confidence, knowledge and skill set to keep yourself and others safe at all times. Motorways are statistically the safest roads to travel on, however that said, because of the increased speeds, the volume and size of traffic using them, when crashes occur they can involve a lot of varied vehicles and can result in serious injuries. You have your full licence so you are evidently a good driver, David can show you what to look for and how best to react to motorway traffic.
Your lesson will include:
• Planning journeys in advance
• Safe speeds and lane discipline
• Observation, blind spots and anticipation
• Joining and leaving motorways
• Signs, signals and road markings
• Courtesy to other road users
• Breakdown and emergency procedures
• Discuss the effects of fatigue
City Driving
Are you a recently qualified driver or just reluctant to drive in the city centre, it's not unusual to be nervous in the city.
